Introduction to Henna Art: Patterns for the Hand

  • Newberry Arts Center 1716 Main Street Newberry, SC, 29108 United States (map)

Discover the art of mehndi, the traditional practice of applying natural henna in beautiful, temporary designs for the hands.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how simple lines, dots, and petals come together to form a mandala, then create your own design with guided instruction. After practicing with pencil and henna on paper, you’ll apply your design in organic, all-natural henna to your hand using prepared cones.

No experience is needed, and all materials are included. Designs will typically last up to 2 weeks.

$80. Pre-registration is required. Register directly with Newberry Arts Center at https://www.newberryartscenter.com/service-page/introduction-to-henna-art
